When the creature first awoke, before I retreated to my courters he briefly tried to communicate with me. The produced several grunts, its voice scratchy and seeming to lack any humanity or intelligence. This is what immediately brought me to the realization that this research, this being that I have constructed is not something that should have ever come to exist! Shocked by this relation and in fear of the creature before me I was compelled to retreat to my chambers. After I had awoken the creature had somehow escaped from my laboratory. In the coming days, the creature had begun to appear in the local newspapers seen lurking within the forests at the end of town.
